Across this nation, there are fewer than ten states that have a Rotary license plate. Indiana is among the fortunate few.  Indiana Rotary License Plate have been available since 2003. . We have cultivated some very loyal customers: many who have purchased a plate every year; some who have purchased multiple plates over these years.  (Check out DeAnne Clifton's RI plate when you have a chance!)
To recap the program highlights, for every application members from your club submit with a $25 fee, your club receives $15 back. Buy 10 License Plates, receive $150; equating to an easy fundraiser. To date, clubs across Indiana have received over $14,000 for favorite projects in their communities, and yet, we are still below the 500 annual minimum license plate sales required to maintain a viable special plate program. With your help, we can take this program to the next level and generate more funds for local community projects across Indiana.

Welcome to the 2009 Indiana Rotary License Plate - The 10% Challenge

District 6540 is asking every Indiana Rotary club to encourage a 10% level of sales of Rotary plates from members of their club. If half the clubs in the district achieve the 10% level, every club with at least 10% participation will receive a free license plate.

Last year the clubs that achieved this target were: Noblesville Midday, Roseland, Zionsville, Columbus Sunrise. So it's clear that it can be done. What we need is a champion in every club to remind members about this great program several times during the year. There's no easier way to proudly display the rolling Rotary billboard and earn money for your favorite project!

We will communicate the status of the challenge often during the year.
